Welcome to Åpta Camping and Mission Center

Åpta Camping and Mission Center is owned and operated by the Norwegian Missionary Society (NMS), an independent missionary organization in the Norwegian Church. NMS has an international commitment in Africa, South America, Asia and Europe.

We are situated at the head of Åptafjorden in Farsund municipality in Vest-Agder. With the sandy beach, marina, pool, walking trails and a cozy camp is a place suitable for holidays, seminars, conferences, church tours and camps. Children can enjoy themselves safely around and the adults can enjoy the tranquility.

We are located 5 minutes from the E39. Farsund Kvinesdal, Lyngdal and Flekkefjord is just a short drive away.

The whole summer we have our own environmental workers who work for the children to have the state. Every day morning gathering and various daytime activities for young and old.

Play, pleasure boating, rowing, nature, summer, camp, auction, meetings and festivals are just some of what you can experience the Åpta Camping and Mission Center.
